My husband and his grandpa built our farmhouse table from the ever popular Ana White farmhouse table plans four years ago. We just love our big, sturdy table and will cherish it forever.
I have experimented a little with lighting over the years, and rounded up a few of my favorites from the web.
I know they're trendy, but I love the industrial and minimalist feel of the Edison bulbs with the cords exposed.
I have been tempted to try something like this over our kitchen island also.
Can you tell I have a thing for Edison bulbs? I like the simple farmhouse feel of this fixture. I have spotted this one in a lot of homes around the web and on Pinterest.
This is the one we currently have above our farmhouse table.
Here it is over our farm table. My toddler son broke the middle glass. I don't have a picture of it after we replaced it.
I love that this chandelier is really pretty but also very simple. I could definitely see putting it above our farmhouse table. Plus, you can't really go wrong with black.
I have been thinking about putting this fixture, or something similar, in our living room also.
I am so excited because we just got two of these beauties! They are 16" across, so bigger than I was expecting, but in a good way!
I plan to put two of them above the table spaced out, so they are each a couple of feet from the center on either side.
UPDATE* We finally hung these lights:
I hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend!
