A Cozy Christmas Farmhouse Bedroom for the Joyful Holiday Home Tour

As much as I don’t like the cooler winter months, there is something so cozy and comforting about snuggling up with warm blankets and a hot fire burning in the wood stove. I shared my whole home for the Farmhouse Christmas Tour in my last post, but I wanted to share a few more photos of my bedroom today for the Joyful Holiday Home Tour.

There are seven other homes on this tour and they are all amazing, so be sure to check out the links at the end of this post!

I kept my Christmas decor super simple this year. I went with blues and whites, instead of the traditional red and green. I just wanted to keep it neutral and minimal.

The dresser is painted in Miss Mustard Seed milk paint in Shutter Gray. I think the bluish shade looks nice year round, but it really complements my blue plaid and grain sack stockings at Christmastime.

I made the garland and wreath from pine tree clippings and floral wire. I also added some other greenery, that I brought home from a hike with my kids, to the white ironstone pitcher.

I found this blue plaid throw blanket on Hayneedle. It is so soft and cozy.

Of course I have my blue “Merry and Bright” grain sack throw pillow on the bed, along with my white IKEA throw pillow and linen duvet set. You can’t really go wrong with white linen any time of the year!

I hung my grain sack stockings from my $5 garage sale lamps. Soon they will be filled with Christmas goodies, but for now I just put some more greenery in them.

A few lit candles add to the cozy feeling. When it’s cold outside, I wish I never had to leave this room. I just want to snuggle under those blankets and pillows all day.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Be sure to go check out all the other lovely homes on this tour:
