Shopping for Our Kitchen Makeover
The last two Saturdays, Luke and I took the kids antique shopping with us while we tried to find some pieces for our Victorian farmhouse kitchen renovation. We ended up finding a sink base for our kitchen sink, some more chandeliers and lights we need to re-wire, a copper tub, salt and pepper shakers, and a lot more! Ruth and Johanna even found two American girls dolls and an American girl doll hutch for their doll clothes. Watch the video to find some of the things I look for when I go antique shopping.
Thank you so much for stopping by the farmhouse!

Hi Lisa: I absolutely love your videos!! I have messaged you before and you are so kind and helpful. This may sound weird, but when my Mom passed (she lived in Wilmington, NC), she had a beautiful hanging blue-flowered hurricane lamp that I brought back to FL. I just couldn’t throw it away! It is in perfect shape, and it would be my pleasure to send you a picture to see if you could use it in your new home. Obviously, if you do like the lamp, this would be a housewarming gift to my favorite YouTuber!! It would also make me happy to see someone love this lamp as much as my Mom did for so many years. Let me know if you have any interest; and if you don’t, no worries. Also, please let me know to which “address” (I’m not very adept at technology) I can send a picture. I am so happy for all of the exciting happenings for you and your family. Happy Easter!

Hello Lisa,
Thank you for sharing your antique shopping videos. I have learned some great new ideas from you today, especially that beautiful white bowl that you suggested planting bulbs in. I find myself having a hard time sometimes when I go antiquing because my mind goes into overdrive and I become overwhelmed but its still so much fun. Good luck in your kitchen planning! Can’t wait to see what you do with that beautiful cabinet you showed in todays video.

Lisa I love your style..I have had this style in mind since I was a child.. Always attracted to the colors and textures of antique furniture and old stoneware. Thank you for bringing it to life. I’m so inspired! Now that my children are grown and gone, I hope to bring my dreams into reality. Thank you for this gift!
