I enjoy all aspects of your blog. One of my favorites was definitely growing the sourdough starter and I have a wonderfully pungent batch bubbling away on the counter. Your bread recipe Is great! Years ago I had sourdough starter which I neglected (it died) so I was very excited when you shared how easy it is begin one naturally.
Thank you for reminding me of the simple joys in my life- baking bread, canning, sewing, etc. Keep up the great work. Happy New Year!!

Wow, you’re right! Your top ten are quite versatile! It’s funny because the other day I though maybe I’d go back and start blogging again. As I mulled through what I blog I realized I was all over the place, content-wise! Judging from your blog success, that’s an OKAY thing to do! Hope your move into your new farmhouse is low stress andvtge translation into the new life is enjoyable! Happy New Year!

Being a (570′) farmhouse owner myself, I enjoy seeing what others are up to in their farmhouse life. I also have a tiny house o wheels. I have had so many magazines contact me and offering me a spot in their magazine. When i found out that the photographers, the editors, the stylists all get paid yet they don’t pay the homeowner for using their home i was shocked. Why in the world wouldn’t they pay the person who provide the content for their photos? In the beginning blogs were great to read. Now that there is so much advertising one has to sift through adds and annoying pop ups. I spend much less time on blogs these days for that very reason. But i do wish you great success in 2019.

You look so cute in that dress! No wonder it made #2. As for #1, I never actually clicked on that one.. so now I’m going to have to try it. Is sour dough better for you than regular dough?

Hey Laura! Thanks so much! Yes, sourdough had tons of health benefits. 🙂

Hi! I bought 3 yards of:
Grain Sack Fabric by the Yard – Nine Stripes Red from you and being new to sewing (following your YouTube videos) I need 12 more yards of this to complete my project. If I can’t order it from you, who can I order it? I’m in the middle of a project!! Yikes!! Thanks for any help or direction you can give me.
