Made with simple ingredients, this delicious homemade honey mustard is a great dipping sauce or spread for your favorite foods, and the perfect dressing to spruce up a garden salad
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. If working without a blender, just add the ingredients to a mixing bowl and whisk thoroughly.
Pour into a glass container with an airtight lid and use as a salad dressing, sandwich spread, or dipping sauce. Store in the fridge.

Try to use local honey if possible.
Olive oil and avocado oil are the best oils for salad dressing due to their health benefits and high omega-3 content. Many honey mustard sauces have inflammatory oils like vegetable, canola, corn, or soybean oil.
You can use one drop of essential oils in place of the lemon juice if preferred.
I find the flavor is best after it sits in the fridge overnight.
For a more typical honey mustard salad dressing consistency, add a very small splash of olive oil and vinegar (white or apple cider vinegar) and whisk.
