Sourdough Garlic Bread
Sourdough garlic bread starts with homemade French bread, then it’s loaded with a garlic herb butter, topped with cheese, and baked until bubbly.

Ingredients

sourdough French bread
1/2
cup
butter
softened
2
tablespoons
olive oil
1/4
teaspoon
salt
4
cloves
minced garlic

tablespoons
chopped parsley
1/4
cup
grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
Prepare and bake sourdough French bread recipe.
Allow the bread to cool.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
In a small bowl, add softened butter.
Add olive oil, salt, minced garlic (highly recommend a garlic press), and parsley. Mix together until well combined.
Slice the sourdough French bread in half, lengthwise, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Generously spread the bread with the garlic herb butter.
Sprinkle with parmesan.
Place in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes.
Slice and serve.
Notes
Feel free to substitute homemade sourdough bread with store-bought if you’re pinched for time.
Try other combinations of herbs.
If you don’t have fresh herbs on hand, substitute them for dried.
