Ingredients

  • 1 cup cocoa butter
  • 1 cup coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • Stevia or raw honey to taste
  • Couple dashes of salt

You can also add in the following for "superfood" portion, but they are totally optional:

  • 1 tablespoon gelatin
  • 1 tablespoon gelatinized maca powder a peruvian root vegetable
  • 1 tablespoon ecobloom

Instructions

  • Mix all my ingredients together in a blender.
  • Pour most of the "batter" into a square glass dish and put it into the freezer.  (Reserve a small amount in a bowl, at room temperature, to act as the glue for the toasted coconut flakes.)

Optional step: Add toasted coconut flakes.

  • Take four cups of coconut chips in a skillet over medium heat.  Stir constantly until they are browned.  Do not be tempted to walk away from the pan.  They will burn very quickly!
  • When your pan of chocolate is nice and hard, pull it out of the freezer and pour the reserved portion on top.  Quickly add the toasted coconut flakes, before the new layer of chocolate has a chance to harden.

Notes

  • I am fully convinced that sugar and toxins destroy gut health, so I needed some kind of loophole that would still allow me to enjoy chocolate. Whether or not you add the superfoods, this is the best chocolate for not disturbing gut health.
