This rooibos tea latte recipe is the ultimate comforting drink. Made with simple ingredients and naturally caffeine free, the whole family will enjoy this cozy beverage.
1/2cupmilkI prefer whole milk. Dairy free milk will also work.
1teaspoonhoneyor maple syrup
Instructions
Pour water into tea kettle or pot to bring the water to a boil
Add loose leaf rooibos tea to a French press or tea bags to a glass jar.
Pour the hot water over the tea and allow it to steep for 10 minutes.
While the tea is steeping, add milk to a saucepan and heat over low heat until warm. Be careful not to scald the milk.
Froth the warm milk until nice and frothy and about double or tripled in size.
Pour the tea into a cup, straining the loose tea if needed.. Stir in sweetener if desired.
Gently pour the frothed milk over top. Optional: sprinkle with cinnamon.

There are multiple ways to froth milk: a milk frother, french press, immersion blender, regular blender, or steamer if you have an espresso machine.For a dairy free option: oat milk tends to froth better than other milk alternatives.
