These homemade, herb-seasoned, sourdough crackers are deliciously tangy, crisp, and buttery. The perfect way to use up excess starter, this whole wheat cracker recipe makes a great snack or appetizer.

Simple Ingredients

– discarded sourdough starter  – AP flour or AP einkorn flour – butter  – dried herbs of your choice  – salt 

How To Make Sourdough Crackers

1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Mix ingredients and knead the dough just until it comes together. 3. Place dough between two pieces of parchment paper and roll out as thin as possible.

4. Remove the top piece of parchment paper and brush with butter. 5. Move the rolled out cracker dough that is on parchment paper onto a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes until crispy. 6. Break apart and store in an air-tight container.
