In part four of our farmhouse Christmas home tour, I share some shots of our simple farmhouse style dining room.
Today I am sharing my farmhouse Christmas dining room as part of the “Home for the Holidays” blog hop with 33 lovely bloggers. Thank you so much to Jenna from Wife in Progress Blog for putting this whole thing together!
If you are coming over from Town and Country Living, welcome! I am so glad to have you stopping by the farmhouse.
I shared our home in five parts this year. Stay tuned for the last installment of my farmhouse Christmas home tour 2017 tomorrow! Get the rest of our farmhouse Christmas home tour here:
My theme for Christmas this year, and pretty much always, is simplicity.
Fresh greenery, candles, neutral colors, pine cones, wood tones, and a touch of red. I brought in several DIY Christmas projects.
I kept the tree simple and minimal with handmade Christmas ornaments.
DIY Christmas ornaments I made this year
DIY Drop Cloth Rag Ball Christmas Ornaments
Vintage Cookie Cutter DIY Christmas Ornaments
Scandinavian Christmas DIY Twig Stars
The table setting is simply wicker chargers, white plates, red striped tea towels, and cinnamon sticks.
This sweet little Christmas art came from my friend Elisabeth of Elisabeth Neill Art. I added it next to a twig star, pine cones and an enamel pitcher full of fresh greenery.

I am craving simplicity this year, and your dining room ticks all the right boxes for me. It’s perfectly festive and oozes farmhouse charm. I went overboard on tree ornaments and wish I’d stuck to a minimalistic approach like you have with this tree – it’s just beautiful!
